This is a vintage Rudyard Kipling novel called “Stalky & Co.” from The Works of Rudyard Kipling XVIII
This copy is certainly rare. The red cloth and the emblem in the center are a beautiful touch. Around the edges and on the bind of the book, there is subtle gold detailing that catches the light beautifully.
