This is a vintage Lefton Japan paperweight. It is in its original condition and has a sticker on the back that shows Lefton trademark exclusives Japan. This piece would make an excellent addition to your collection. Or a great pop of color for any room in your house! This piece is 2 3/4 inches wide and 2 3/4 inches tall.
Lefton was one of the first American businessmen to deal with the Japanese after World War II. The first pieces of Lefton China with the "Made in Occupied Japan" mark reached the United States in 1946. Lefton China produced in Occupied Japan included a wide range of pieces, dating from 1946 to 1952.
