A wonderful 1950s Brass barware tool. Just in case you dont know, a muddler is an essential bartending tool used to mash drink ingredients. When using a muddler, ingredients like fruits and herbs are crushed and added to drinks. Typically, ingredients are muddled to create alcoholic beverages, but some non-alcoholic drinks can benefit from muddling as well.
This opener/muddler is marked "Downing" we did a lot of research on this and could not find exactly Downing was for. If you happen to know a thing or two please feel free to contact us with some neat information!
