The Descent of Man & Selection in Relation to Sex was 1st published in 1871. It was Darwin's 2nd book on evolutionary theory, following his 1859 Origin of Species. The Descent of Man applies evolutionary theory to human evolution, detailing a theory of sexual selection.

This book is in great condition! Barely shows any wear from its age although, it does NOT come with a dust jacket. The cover is all grey with gold lettering and green detailing. Has some light yellowing in the pages but nothing too bad. Would make a fantastic gift for any book lovers in your life!!
