The Adventures of Philip - A Shabby Genteel Story - Cathrine: A Story by William Makepeace Thackeray | Literature
About the author: William Makepeace Thackeray was a British novelist, author and illustrator. He is known for his satirical works, particularly his 1848 novel Vanity Fair, a panoramic portrait of British society, and the 1844 novel The Luck of Barry Lyndon, which was adapted for a 1975 film by Stanley Kubrick.
Condition: This book is in poor to fair condition. The leather on the binding is a bit worn and cracked (seems dried up to the touch) and sheds when you open the book - the front cover is also beginning to fall off the rest of the book. Despite that the pages appear to be clean with a slight vintage hue to it but it can still be read with ease! See photos for reference.
Dimensions: 5 1/2 inches wide by 8 1/2 inches tall
Vintage/Antique Items:
Please note that most vintage/antique items may have minor wear due to their age and being loved, which we believe only adds to the charm and patina of these pieces. Because the items sold in our shop are vintage or antique, there are often small condition issues, which we do our best to accurately disclose and photograph in the listings.
While we try very hard to describe our items accurately, it is possible that the eye of a true collector might see something that we do not. If you are particular about your vintage items, please ask questions before you buy. We really want you to be happy with your item and have confidence in your purchase.
