Francisco José de Goya y Lucientes was a Spanish romantic painter and printmaker. He is considered the most important Spanish artist of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. His paintings, drawings, and engravings reflected contemporary historical upheavals and influenced important 19th- and 20th-century painters.

About the author: Georges André Malraux was a French novelist, art theorist, and minister of cultural affairs. Malraux's novel La Condition Humaine won the Prix Goncourt. He was appointed by President Charles de Gaulle as information minister and subsequently as France's first cultural affairs minister during de Gaulle's presidency.

Condition: Good condition! No signs of any major damages. There is a slight distressed look to the front cover but thats mainly due to it not having a a slip cover. Overall the book itself is perfect, pages held together nicely, text - very visible to read. See photos for reference.
