This is an original vintage H. Daumier sketch print of stern faced dapper gentleman that appears to be dressed for an event or gathering.
The piece is titled Journal No. 159
Honoré-Victorin Daumier was a French painter, sculptor, and printmaker, whose many works offer commentary on the social and political life in France, from the Revolution of 1830 to the fall of the second Napoleonic Empire in 1870.
Honoré-Victorin Daumier was known for creating pieces in certain periods like Realism, Impressionism, Romanticism and Modern art.
This item is perfect vintage condition. There is a very delicate/old frame so be careful when handling this item.
