Story about an Irish woman who comes to America disguised as her deceased brother to gain an inheritance. Rida Johnson Young was an American playwright, songwriter and librettist. In her career, Young wrote over thirty plays and musicals, and over 500 songs. This book was the retelling of the 1923 Cosmopolitan Silent Movie starring Marion Davies, Harrison Ford and directed by Sidney Olcott.
This book is in good condition. The cover is made of leather and this book is illustrated with scenes from the cosmopolitan photoplay. Overall the pages show no staining and very light discoloration. This would make an excellent addition to any collection!
