This is a hardcover small book, with thick and sturdy pages. Every page has a colored illustration (a handcolored photograph) and a description which includes a bit of history or provenance of the name, what it looks like and how it grows, how to care for it, and sometimes a recommendation of how it does as a cut or dried flower. Great ID guidebook for popular flowers in the 1930s. Very interesting types and fonts, art deco, as you can see on the cover; and on inside pages.
This book appears to be in beautiful vintage condition, with very minor damages. The words and images seem to be very well maintained despitw its vintage age - a very fun and lightweight read!
