This GOLDEN EAGLE Brand, Valencia Lates, Fullerton, Orange County, California, Vintage Fruit Crate Label was used by Charles Chapman in May of 1938 to Brand his pine and spruce boxes of Oranges for market. Western Lithograph of Los Angeles designed and produced this colorful and gilded Orange Crate Label; rendering a remarkable likeness of the Chapman Family Matriarch. The Bird covers nearly all of the 11 inch by 11inch commercial art piece as it protects, or prepares to devour, the three large ripe oranges shown.
