Bartholomew and the Oobleck is a 1949 book by Dr. Seuss. It follows the adventures of a young boy named Bartholomew Cubbins, who must rescue his kingdom from a sticky green substance called oobleck. The book is a sequel of sorts to The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins.
About the author: Theodore Seuss Geisel was an American children's author and cartoonist. He is known for his work writing and illustrating more than 60 books under the pen name Dr. Seuss.
