Antique, full volume XLII of The Illustrated London News covering January to June 1863. Book is complete but the front cover is detached, though present in an added wrapper, likewise the spine face has worn away. In original binding. Front endpapers show tatter as well as some water marks. Interior is very clean and water marks do not occur past front endpapers, likewise there is little to no tatter to pages after the front endpapers. Cover Board is split from the rest of the book just before the front index page of engravings and still has the title page as well as endpapers connected to it. Book is profusely illustrated in original 1863 prints which are clean, crisp and well intact.
